1. Chinatown
Chinatown is also known as Chinese city in Bangkok. Booking a room in this area, you can easily visit the famous pagodas which has a strong Chinese architecture  such as Wat Traimit, Wat Chakarat, Wat Mangkol kamalawat.

Some crowded commercial activities take place here during the day.  At night, when the lanterns are  lighted, it is also the time that all taste of the dishes are mixed together.  The flock of people do to this place is more and more crowded.  China town is closest to Hua Lam Phong MRT. 2. Khaosan Road 
It is the area surrounded the Western Khaosan Street, starting with the Democracy Monuments.  This area is extremely vibrant and bustling at night.  With a wide range of bars, shops serving late until the night, Khaosan road is a great place for those who like partying.  Pictures of young people run to the streets, immersed in active dances, perhaps it is the most impressive image for those who come to Khaosan.  If you book here, you may feel secure when going out till night without thinking about the transport.Besides, the zone is also near Wat Saket.  This is a famous pagoda located on a pretty hilltop.
3. Sukhumvit Area:
Sukhumvit Road is the longest road connecting many provinces of Thailand.  Sukhumvit does not have many famous places, but there are lots of food streets, shopping centers, entertainment areas here such as Terminal 21, Flow House Surfing Club, Dinosaur Park, Lane 38. This is also a place where men go to the "Red light streets" such as Nana Plaza (Lane 4) and Soi Cowboy  (Lane 23).
To book a room, you should choose to book around BTS Sukhumvit to Ekkamai BST. Thanks to underground systems MRT, BTS Skytrain and the buses, it is extremely convenient to move from Sukhumvit to other districts.

4. Silom
The Silom area is close to Patpong Red Light District or Patpong Night Market.  People said that it is very exciting at night. This road is also close to BTS and MRT so you can be moved on main roads.  There are many red light streets in Silom, so the evening is very crowded.  If there going with children, you shouldnot be here. Hotels are distributed everywhere, so you can choose a room near the BTS.
5. Pratunam - Siam area
This is the most favorite area because it is the center of the Thailand's most magnificent shopping complexes such as Siam Paragon, Central World.  MBK area is near BigC supermarket which is excessively perfect if booking a room. However, prices are slightly higher than other areas.
Pratunam Market is a busy shopping mall in which the prices are frome low to average.  Pratunam Market is a place where Vietnamese often transfer in order to pick up goods.  Therefore, many sellers here know Vietnamese. In addition, Platinum Fashion Mall also sells a huge number of  produces but does not have to bargain and has cool air conditioning. The hotels around this area can be said to be dense, concentrated in Pratunam Market from lane 13 to 19.
