According to information from government, an explosion has
occurred that killed three women today in Columbia. The blast is thought a
terrorist attack directed at the
government.
The explosion is set to happen at the women's toilet in the
supermarket in Zona Rosa. According to the latest information, the dead at the
explosion were identified as French. The first identified French woman was 23
years old, the others two was 27 and 31 years old.
Currently, the person behind this attack has not been
identified yet.
Right after that,
President Juan Manuel Santos visited the shopping mall on Saturday evening and
state the media: "I do not want to speculate on who would be behind this
attack." He also emphasized that
the cause of the attack is being investigated to clarify.
People are wondering who the person behind the attack is, as
well as the purpose of the attack that the government calls it terrorism.
Meanwhile, Security Minister Daniel Mejia said the attack has not evaluated
yet.
The situation has been increasingly strained, the conflict
situation between the security forces and the ELN has happened many times while
the government and the insurgency tried to negotiate a peace deal. These
conflicts greatly affect the lives of people.
In spite of this,in attacks of ELN are mainly aimed at
security forces in the region not targeting innocent civilians.
